Purity of recombinant human FGF-9 was determined by SDS- polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The protein was resolved in an SDS- polyacrylamide gel in reducing and non-reducing conditions and stained using Coomassie blue.
Recombinant human FGF-9 (HZ-1329) induces dose-dependent proliferation of the 4MBr-5 (monkey epithelial) cell line. Cell number was quantitatively assessed by PrestoBlueR cell viability reagent. 4MBr-5 cells were treated with increasing concentrations of recombinant FGF-9 for 7 days. The EC50 was determined using a 4-parameter non-linear regression model. The EC50 range is 4-20 ng/mL.
