[背景]老化細胞は細胞周期の進行を促す遺伝子の抑制やp16､p53のような細胞周期ｲﾝﾋﾋﾞﾀｰによるｱｯﾌﾟﾚｷﾞｭﾚｰﾄ､またその転写ﾀｰｹﾞｯﾄである p21に伴う不可逆的なG1増殖停止によって特徴付けられています｡これら老化細胞は分裂促進因子が誘導する増殖に抵抗性であり､肥大して扁平な形態であると想定されています｡
